Rest in peace, Bulent Ecevit

Certainly a sad loss, but not an unexpected one. He wasn't the flawless man that much of the Turkish media seems to be making him out to be at the moment.

I was particularly interested by Kenan Evren's words upon hearing of death: "I regret imprisoning him". Yes, of course he does.

His funeral is on Saturday. Should be interesting to see who turns up.
