Saddam Hussein: Executed by Hanging

A sad day for the world... Saddam died because of an illegal invasion of Iraq. His overtures from Baghdad calling for last minute negotiations were dismissed by Bush and his lap dogs. Things could have been different. In the end, the asshole who is responsible for the Iraq invasion, for Iraq's disintegration, civil war, untold civilian deaths, Guantanamo, Abu Ghaib, and more US casualties than 9/11, goes scot free and no doubt pats himself on the back. Weapons of mass destruction? Nope. Al-Qaeda link? Nope. Threat to United States? Nope. Dictator? Check.. Iraq has become a total horror show, and Americans are footing the bill and taking the blame. The single person capable of controlling Iraq's masses, however brutal, has been murdered. Every execution is nothing less. We've lost a few giants in this 12th month of 2006.. But if you ask me, I believe the world has been sold a bill of goods when it comes to Saddam. The vacuum which now prevails in Iraq has set loose a hornet's nest of violent radicals and fundamentalists, all acting out in ways they have only dreamed of during Saddam's rule. His crimes and deficiencies fit on the head of a pin, compared to what the U.S. has done to the Iraqi people. A new leader, capable of uniting or at least controlling all of the ethnic and religious groups in Iraq, has yet to emerge from his/her mother's womb. Rest in peace.

Dubya is yet to experience his 2nd term curse. Just wait. He's doing a fine job at hanging himself.

Saddam, however, was no angel either.

Certainly not, Gamze. Objection to capital punishment does not mean I excuse his crimes.

Murat I totally agree. The world was a safer place when Saddam was in power. Iraq is now hell bent on destruction with their religious in fighting. However brutal Saddam was, he needs to be respected for the fact that he had his country under control.

I can't understand why he needed to be singled out for hanging. What about all the other tyrannical leaders: Pinochet, Idi Amin, Robert Magabi, Pol Pot? Or is reasonable to say that the world will turn a blind eye to the conduct of tyrannical foreign leaders providing the said government has an alliance with the U.S. government.

So, "Amerikan Turk" supports terroroism, and hosts many other (butts in the ear while "praying" )Muslim sites and bloggers.

Time to call Homeland Security !

Wasn't one of the dirty Muslims who flew the planes into the WTC at ground zero , also Turkish??

Dear Yes,
Saddam was not involved in 9/11 nor did he did not have any weapons of mass destruction, so why was it necessary to hang him. It was not up to the Americans to capture him and bring him to trial, it was up to the Iraqi people. So Saddam is gone, I can assure you than another tyrannical leader will take his place.
Bush is always stating that he wants to spread Democracy. What crap! Bush is using his own American soldiers, many of whom have died in combat for the purpose of sustaining the flow of oil, not Democracy. Countries like Iraq are not ready for Democracy. The overthrow of Saddam has resulted in a chaotic and fragile Middle East AND political discomfort for the Turks with the Kurkish uprising in the North of Iraq.
It would have been better if the U.S. had not entered Iraq and simply monitered Saddam. The U.S. has the capability. So many Iraqi and American lives have been lost for the Bush administration arragance.

I do not support Terrorism, But I do beleive that one is better of with the Devil they know than with the Devil they don't.

On the subject of Terrorism, Turkey knows all too well the effects of terrorism, as it is continually inflicted on them by the PKK.

Turks do not support Terrorism.

Dear Yes,
Further to your allegation.

A TURK was NOT INVOLVED in the horrific act of flying the plane into the WTC.

Get your facts right before directing your stupid accusations.

America is the greatest terror organization in the world.

It sounds like Al-Quaeeda conference here, with your dirty Muslim talk of America being a terrorist and apologies for Saddam.

I wonder how many of you Turkish Muslim ragheads have proper papers.

Homeland Security is on the way.

Ardent said...

You certainly are a massive, uneducated DICKHEAD!

Homeland Security? Bring them on!

say NO to STUPID said...

Did your sister leave you for a raghead or something? I feel for you buddy, but you know there are other fish in the sea.

yes, your stupidity knows no bounds. Too bad ignorance isn't painful, or rather, good ting for you!

Ardent, anonymous, many thanks for telling it like it is. Agree on all points..

Btw, being a Muslim is not a prerequisite for understanding what a 'bill of goods' the American people have been sold..
The latest elections speak for themselves..
